ProModel is used by companies who are planning major layout changes
to heir factory, extending existing facilities or even consolidating
2 or more production operations into one factory. Inevitably issues
of material flows, logistics and location of machines will affect
the successful operation of the new facility.
Such changes are expensive, disruptive, and don’t
always go according to plan first time. In which case, additional
unplanned costs are often incurred as a result of mistakes made.
For example, machines may have to be moved to different locations,
sometimes more than once.
Equally, layouts may not be best suited to best
use of space, or optimise the flow of materials in the factory.
